The space

Winnimere has 1,752 square feet of charming living space with four private bedrooms and two and a half baths recently built in 2026. Everything in the house is entirely brand new. You'll love the location, nestled in between the Brooklyn Arts District and Soda Pop District! You can walk to the heart of downtown in less than 15 minutes - not having to worry about finding a parking spot - or hop in an Uber for less than $10 instead. Outside, there is a spacious patio for entertaining, dining, and a propane grill. And a huge bonus - the large driveway with room for 4 vehicles.

Living Room

Features luxury sofas from Hydeline and Castlery and a World Market swivel chair with enough room to seat 8. It's a great spot to lounge in front of the 65" Samsung Smart TV, giving you access to your subscription apps like Netflix, YouTubeTV, and Hulu. With 9 foot ceilings throughout the entire home, it feels airy, open, and spacious.

Kitchen

The modern kitchen has quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances with bar seating for 3. You will be on your own for groceries, but it is equipped with several spices, condiments, and olive oil to get you started. We come to the home regularly and do our best to keep things stocked. If you use the last of something and feel inspired to replace it for the next guest, it is greatly appreciated. There is a Keurig coffee machine (you will need to provide your own KCups) and all the pots, pans, and utensils you need to prepare a nice meal are here for your use.

Dining Room

Includes a large farmhouse dining table, which easily seats 6 people for a memorable family meal.

Master Bedroom/Bathroom

Relax in our beautiful Birch Lane king size bed with memory foam mattress and matching coastal farmhouse furniture. There is a 50" Samsung Smart TV on the wall to stream the apps you subscribe to. There's also a roomy walk-in closet and an ensuite bath with a kit-kat tiled shower, toilet and a 2-sink quartz countertop vanity. Included is a small starter kit of shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion.

Front Bedroom

This room has a rustic Grain Wood queen size bed with a memory foam mattress. It includes two matching nightstands and closet.

Middle Bedroom

This room has a sleek, low profile Grain Wood queen size bed with a memory foam mattress. It includes two matching nightstands and a sizeable closet. A 50" SmartTV allows you to stream your favorite subscriptions.

Downstairs Bedroom

This bedroom has a coastal farmhouse Grain Wood full size bed and matching nightstands.

Guest Bathroom

Acting as a guest bath upstairs, this spacious Jack-and-Jill bathroom is located in between the two secondary bedrooms and contains a bathtub/shower, toilet, and a single sink vanity. Included is a small starter kit of shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion.

Powder Room

Located downstairs, this includes a pedestal sink and toilet.

Laundry Room

This room features brand new Whirlpool appliances. We provide a starter kit of laundry pods to complete a couple loads during your stay. You will also find a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, and LED lanterns in case of a power outage, along with a selection of board games.

Outside

Immediately outside of the back door leading out of the kitchen, you will step onto the covered back porch with 2 Adirondack chairs. Beyond that, the large patio includes a heavy-duty cast aluminum dining set for 6 and a Weber Genesis propane grill for outdoor cooking. The fully-fenced, private backyard also includes the driveway.

Parking

The driveway has 4 spaces available for parking. Most houses in the Historic District do not have driveways. Those that do are very tight. You will need to drive VERY slow to navigate between the neighbor's garage and the fence to access the driveway. It is a challenge, but if you take your time, you can comfortably access the driveway with a full-sized pickup truck. While street parking is currently allowed, we suggest trying your best to utilize our off-street parking to keep your vehicle at Winnimere.

Neighborhood

One of the best attributes of Winnimere is its central location. Less than a 15 minute walk to the heart of downtown, you can quickly reach your dinner/drinks/music destination without having to worry about finding a parking spot. This is an urban neighborhood. Located within the Historic District, expect houses in close proximity and a heavier pedestrian presence if you're accustomed to suburban living. Downtown Wilmington is unique where it is not uncommon for low income, middle class, and wealthy households to live on the same block. Despite it's urban location, it's safe and actually a very quiet street overall with a mix of owner-occupied and rental housing. One of the "old school" neighborhoods of Wilmington, it still has the nostalgia of a walking postman to deliver the mail to your front door. Wilmington International Airport, UNC Wilmington, and New Hanover Regional Medical Center are all less than a 10 minute drive away. You can reach the closest popular beaches (Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach) within 15-25 minutes.

Garbage

Trash pickup is on Mondays. If you are staying or checking out on a Sunday, please roll the trash bin(s) out to the street for Monday pickup and pull them back behind the driveway once they've been emptied.

Guest access

Guests will have access to the entire house, with the exception of two locked owner's closets near the foyer and the upstairs hallway.

Other things to note

  • There are security cameras located on the exterior of the house pointed towards entrances, the driveway and the back yard. These cameras are actively recording at all times.
  • Maximum occupancy is 8 guests total. If the guest count provided is inaccurate, the host reserves the right to charge an additional $250 per person per day.
  • The property is strictly NO EVENTS unless explicitly given permission before your stay. Absolutely no bachelor or bachelorette parties.
  • Pets are not permitted on the property due to an allergy within our family.
  • Guests are not permitted to download paid videos/movies/sporting events, etc. through the Smart TVs. If a guest downloads something during the date/time they are at the home, the owner will deduct this amount from the guest's security deposit.
